Our Lypors® technology is extremely versatile and can handle any types of coal combustion products whether they are freshly produced or deposited; hard coal ash, brown coal ash or a mixture of both ashes.

ZaaK is one of the first companies which started to develop a solution for incineration ash, also known as waste-to-energy ash, which to a large part until now has been deposited underground.

Irrespective of the source of the mineral input streams the final products such as Lypors® and Smart Spheres® meet lightweight fine aggregates specifications in accordance with DIN EN 13055:2016 and passes environmental compliances in accordance with DIN 4226-101.

Turnkey Solution

Together with leading players in the engineering and design business ZaaK offers best manufacturing upcycling concepts, which results in ready to operate turnkey solutions with maximum performance.

ZaaK’s turnkey solutions are particularly suitable for almost every industry segment:

ZaaK performs a technical assessment to determine technological, cost and schedule, environmental and other factors for the establishment of your upcycling production plant.

During concept development, the basic scope and design of the plant will be developed. This entails initial design, defining operation capacities, high level process documentations, plant location study, initial project schedule and budget cost estimate. Consecutively, technical requirements for the common design, fabrication, construction, operation, maintenance of equipment and facilities (FEED package) will be defined providing preliminary vendor information to be applied to the project.

Based on the front-end engineering design (FEED) package all required construction documents and drawings up to “Approved for Construction (AFC) stage” as well as detailed bill of materials (BOM) based on the respective vendor information will be developed.

During fabrication, ZaaK and/or its local partners will monitor and accompany respective vendors ensuring that components of the plant will be manufactured as per defined documents and contracts.

During installation and commissioning ZaaK together with local and international partners will be in charge for the assembly of plant components and commissioning of the plant.

To ensure safe and fully functional operations of the plant, ZaaK will train your operations team before the plant will be finally handed over to you.

We accompany you from start to finish. This includes lab testing, pilot testing, assisting in establishing the value chain, providing a turnkey solution, customer development and marketing.
